After an amazing thirteen years in the NBA, Vin Baker lost all his fortune in retirement as a result of alcoholism. Fortunately, the alcoholism is behind him and now he works as a manager for Starbucks and is also a minister in his father’s church. Working at Starbucks might not look too appealing to most people, a fact that Vin is aware of, but it really isn’t a problem for him. Baker understands that he was an alcoholic and that because of that he lost a fortune. He lost what his talent had given him. Because he is a family man with four kids at forty three years old, it only makes sense for him to pick up the pieces of his life that are broken.
