This will go down in history as among the most embarrassing award ceremony moments. Kanye West got on stage during Taylor Swift’s victory speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs to persuade the public that Beyoncé should have won.
West exclaimed that he would let Taylor Swift finish, although Beyonce had the best videos of all time. Queen B looked terribly embarrassed. Don’t worry—Taylor has since won hundreds of prizes, and Kanye has apologized.
