Born in New York State in 1946, Patty Duke captured America’s hearts in 1963. The young actress played two roles on the TV series named after her. She portrayed both Patty Duke and her cousin Cathy Lane, who coincidentally looked exactly like Patty. The two characters shared adventures for their viewers, keeping audiences thoroughly entertained across 105 episodes over three years.
